We, at BMW Car in Ulm, offer an interesting working student occupation in the area of software development for our CarIT project FasInfo using the Python language.

As part of Continuous Integration & Testing we work to further automate our test equipment which we rely on to deliver high quality software features to our BMW end customers. The position we offer is an exciting opportunity to work in a small project team helping us achieve an even higher level of automated testing.

What should you bring along?

  • Student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related fields.
  • Experience in Python programming and Git/GitHub.
  • Familiarity with network communication protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, RestAPI.
  • Understanding of C++ and Linux is beneficial.
  • Ideally some experience with Continuous Integration (CI) practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Zuul).
  • Self-initiative to learn new things.
  • Good English skills.


Presence in our Ulm office is required.
